About Loli Ferrari Art

Biography

Estefanía Ferrari is an Argentine contemporary figurative artist born in Patagonia and currently based in St. Augustine, Florida, where she maintains her studio and works as a full-time painter.

Raised in a family of artists, Ferrari developed an early connection to the visual arts that has remained a constant throughout her life. Her artistic perspective has been shaped by an extensive international trajectory, having lived and worked across diverse cultures.

During her years working as an international model, Ferrari maintained a continuous engagement with art, actively exploring the local artistic scenes, cultural traditions, and visual languages of the places she inhabited. Rather than existing separately from her artistic development, these experiences became an integral part of her evolving perspective, exposing her to different ways of understanding identity, beauty, and the human condition.

Her interest in the complexity of human behavior led her to study psychology in Argentina. Her exploration of the relationship between body and mind also extended into the practice of yoga. In 2014, she represented Argentina at the World Yoga Championship in London, an experience that further enriched her understanding of discipline, movement, and physical expression.

Working primarily with oil paint and mixed media, Ferrari creates figurative compositions through the juxtaposition of materials, symbolism, and expressive imagery. Her paintings explore the ambiguities of human emotion, questioning conventional distinctions between beauty and discomfort, vulnerability and strength, and the visible and the unspoken.

Drawing from her multicultural experiences, personal observations, and lifelong relationship with art, Ferrari continues to develop a visual language centered on the richness and complexity of human existence.
