I use Mix Media, oil paint on canvas. Most of my commissioned work is painted in my studio from photographic reference.

The price is 3US$ per square inch, the smaller size I do is 18x24, but not limits so you can choose bigger size if you prefer.

About Me

My artistic practice is rooted in a fascination with the complexity of human emotion and the belief that beauty can be found in every dimension of human feeling.

I do not see emotions as inherently positive or negative, nor do I believe they exist within a moral or aesthetic hierarchy. Each carries its own depth, significance, and capacity to reveal something about the human condition.

Rather than prescribing an emotional response or imposing a fixed narrative, I seek to create a space for contemplation, where viewers are free to encounter the work through their own memories, perceptions, and experiences.

An Immersive Art Installation

Curatorial Concept

To Observe or to Be Observed is an immersive art installation that explores the delicate relationship between seeing and being seen.

Through six figurative paintings, the exhibition invites visitors into a specially designed space where darkness, light, presence, and perception become integral parts of the artistic experience.

The experience unfolds through a carefully orchestrated sequence of focused lighting, gradually revealing figures that confront the viewer's gaze and others that remain immersed in their own worlds.

As the paintings emerge from darkness, visitors move between moments of intimacy and confrontation, observation and exposure.

Rather than imposing a predetermined emotional narrative, the installation creates a space to feel, question, and experience the subtle shifts that occur when the act of looking becomes an encounter.

The Immersive Experience

The installation is conceived for a dedicated, enclosed section within a gallery or exhibition space, where ambient light can be minimized and the lighting carefully controlled.

Six original figurative paintings surround the visitors. A programmed sequence of directional spotlights reveals and conceals the works, alternating between figures that acknowledge the viewer through their gaze and those that remain absorbed in their own worlds.

Darkness is not merely the absence of light; it becomes an essential part of the artistic language, shaping what is visible, what remains hidden, and how each encounter unfolds.

Each painting presents a distinct emotional state, introducing a diversity of human experiences that resonate with one another and with each viewer's perception.

The installation can be experienced individually or in groups, allowing each visitor to develop a personal response to the shifting relationship between observing and being observed.

Format: Immersive installation featuring six original figurative paintings, each measuring 24 × 30 inches (61 × 76.2 cm).
